Tell Congress that toxic chemicals don’t belong in our food

Subject Line: Action Needed: Toxic chemicals in food

Body: Dear Senator/Representative,

States are leading the way in protecting our health, banning toxic food chemicals the FDA has failed to regulate. But now Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.) has introduced the FRESH and Affordable Foods Act, a bill that would strip states of their power to keep harmful additives out of our food, retroactively and going forward.

This is a direct attack on state rights and food safety.

Tell Congress: Reject the FRESH Act. We need stronger protections, but this bill gives the chemical industry even more power over what is added to our food with less FDA oversight.

Fill out the form below to contact your representative. Urge them to defend states’ ability to protect their communities and uphold the right to safer food.
